hello readers,
I am drifting away from one of passions by writing this post. A sense of well being overtook me, also i must admit a sense of responsibility to make everyone more aware of habits we need to cultivate in order to have a healthier lifestyle.
I am sure there are many of us are struggling to lose weight.I am no exception. I was really overweight last year and i am still overweight now, i am ashamed to say it, but what the heck ? It is the truth.
I lost 10 kilos of weight over a year ago, owing to to a low carb diet and had close to nothing for dinner, among other "healthy" habits. It was tough but i had a clear motivation. My knee injury.
I do not wish to digress, so anyway, water right? Yes the Power of Water . Water Power ! Yay clean drinking water! Can you afford it ? Then why aren't you consuming it? Or why aren't you consuming enough ? Trust me these questions are not directed at just you, i ask them to myself and to my close ones regularly.
Drinking water has numerous health benefits that i have noticed in myself. I have heard and read that drinking water regularly and in sufficient amounts directly influences loss of weight. It also helps in removing toxins from the body. Sounds positive right? Like a healing? I look at it from a pooping perspective, yep Poop. I like it better out of my body than in it. Remember all the awkward farts that come at weird times, like when you are in a really quiet meeting, in a classroom. Admit it, you never take responsibility when you fart.Toxins are poop and poop is fart. Want to live fart free? Drink water. Simple right ? Get rid of that pesky little cause of awkward conversations and facial expressions. Start your day with a tall glass of hot water with lemon or ACV, and that smelly toxins will surrender in no time. Trust me when toxins are out you will notice a lot of amazing changes in your body. Acne reduces considerably, you do not succumb to heat boils all over your body and don't even get me started on the metabolism !
You can't stop me now, can you ? I blurt. Oops. Losing weight is a direct outcome of increased metabolism. Working out might keep you in shape, without the right diet is not so great for weight loss. Again, this is from personal experience. Drinking about 3-4 liters of water a day really helped to cut down that excess weight, and i really cant seem to put a finger on why i stopped consuming water regularly.I do not drink water during my exercise, or during a match, as i feel it makes my tummy bulky and i feel lazier to go on.However changes in my schedules took away my motivation to drink water. Its never too late ! You still have a beautiful life ahead so why stop now? Time to get back up, dust off those heavy excuses wearing you down, and get back to you routine, to your track on your fitness goals.
Of course, you need to pee a lot if you drink this way, but isn't it better than to pee after having beers? Make water your beer, if you can proclaim that you can down 10 pints of beer, then four liters of water a day must be a walk in the park!
Just ensure you have a working toilet within your reach, for you never know when nature calls, and trust me it is one mother you shouldn't piss off! Happy mother's day ! Keep hydrated !
Ash out.
